Nomeados para os Critics Choice Awards

A 27.ª cerimónia de entrega dos Critics Choice Awards será transmitida em directo no canal norte-americano TBS, a 9 de janeiro, desde o salão de baile do hotel Fairmont Century Plaza, em Los Angeles. Taye Diggs e Nicole Byer serão os apresentadores para a noite.

Joey Berlin, presidente da associação, promete "uma noite cheia de estrelas" assumindo a pretensão de abafar os Globos de Ouro da Hollywood Foreign Press Association que terão lugar na mesma noite, mas perderam a transmissão televisiva na NBC e enfrentam ameaças de boicote após meses de polémica devido a acusações de falta de diversidade e ética. As ambições da CCA ficam também expressas no facto de terem aberto um ramo internacional para jornalistas estrangeiros que esvaziará ainda mais a desacreditada HPFA.
