Nomeações para os Globos de Ouro 2021

"Mank" lidera com seis nomeações entre os filmes. Os vencedores são anunciados a 28 de fevereiro.

A Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) revelou esta quarta-feira a lista de nomeações para os Globos de Ouro. O anúncio foi feito por duas antigas vencedoras, as atrizes Sarah Jessica Parker e Taraji P. Henson.

Os vencedores dos prémios da associação representante de parte da imprensa estrangeira que cobre a indústria de entretenimento na área de Los Angeles – os segundos mais importantes da temporada – a seguir aos Óscares, serão conhecidos a 28 de fevereiro.

A cerimónia, de acordo com o que avança o The Hollywood Reporter, terá um formato novo. Será repartida entre as costas leste e oeste dos Estados Unidos com Tina Fey a servir como anfitriã da noite a partir do Rainbow Room em Nova Iorque, e Amy Poehler a cumprir idênticas funções desde o Beverly Hilton, em Los Angeles, onde habitualmente decorre a entrega dos prémios. Quando aos nomeados, ao que se sabe, vão estar divididos por vários locais do globo, residindo a dúvida se estarão em grupos centralizados em determinadas cidades.

Entre os filmes, "Mank" foi o título mais citado, com seis nomeações, seguido por "The Trial of the Chicago 7", com cinco. Nas séries televisivas, lidera a lista o drama "The Crown", nomeado por seis vezes, com a comédia "Shitt’s Creek" logo a seguir, com cinco.

Dois vencedores já são conhecidos, os dos prémios honorários. Este ano, o Prémio Cecil B. deMille por "notáveis contribuições para o mundo do entretenimento", vai para Jane Fonda, enquanto o Prémio Carol Burnett, para "notáveis contribuições para a televisão, no ecrã, ou nos bastidores", cabe ao produtor e argumentista Norman Lear.
