Association Their Voice Portugal accused of mistreating horses to receive donations
Hundreds of people claim to have been cheated by an english woman who set up a horse-riding association in Portugal. Their Voice Portugal was created by Sharon Clarke in 2012 and lives on donations from foreigners who adopt the animals, allegedly abused. The complainants claim that the horses arrived in the United Kingdom on the verge of death or in a state of weakness which they considered "criminal". The General Directorate of Veterinary, responsible for inspection, visited the farm in Beja after the complaint by RTP and did not detect any irregularities.
